Stemps is an educational online platform for architects, urban planners, developers, and creative professionals, launched by IND Architects in late 2023.


Following the successful rebranding of IND Architects, Amir Idiatulin approached us with the goal of creating a new brand in the education sector. Our task was to conduct strategic research, develop positioning, and successfully launch the brand into the market.


Challenge


Over two months, we conducted in-depth research and led a series of branding and strategy workshops in collaboration with the client’s team. This co-creation process resulted in a clear vision for the brand, emphasizing its unique positioning in the education industry.


Solution


Stemps offers expert-led, up-to-date content in design and architecture, combining curated materials, skill assessments, and real-world applications. The platform integrates the latest methodologies and tools, ensuring high-quality training by industry-leading practitioners.


To visually translate Stemps’ philosophy, we developed a graphic system centered around the intersection of disciplines. We explored visual metaphors that communicate concentration, selection, and knowledge exchange.


A key technique in the identity is the overlaying of forms, symbolizing how knowledge evolves at the crossroads of different disciplines. This technique was implemented in the logo, brand materials, and digital assets, ensuring a consistent and dynamic visual identity.


The naming strategy reflects this vision. The word “Stemps” encodes multiple meanings:

• “Steps” represents progress, learning, and structured growth.

• “Stem” refers to interdisciplinary integration, making learning efficient and impactful.
